You can put this solution on YOUR website! Given g(x) = sqrt(x - 1), find the following:
(a) the domain of g;
x-1 cannot be negative:
x-1 >= 0
x >= 1
Domain: All Real Numbers that are greater than or equal to 1
====================================
(b) the range of g.
sqrt(x-1) can never be negative
Range is All Real Numbers greater than or equal to zero.
