$45 is spent on Friday (F), Saturday (S) and Sunday (N)
F+S+N=45 -> N=45-F-S
F is 1/3 of the budget so F=(1/3)*45 = $15
S is 2/5 of the budget so S=(2/5)*45 = $18
N=45-15-18 = $12 he can spend on Sunday.
