Question 301218: the sume of two numbers is thirty. Three times the smaller number is twice the larger number. Find the two numbers Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! let one number be x
so other number will be 30 -x ( because their sum is 30)
3x = 2(30-x)
3x=60-2x
5x=60
x=12
the other number is 30 -12 = 18
12 and 18 are the numbers
