You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The area of rectangle = 180 cm^2
Perimeter = 58
L*W = 180
L= 180/W
Perimeter = 2L + 2W
Plug the value of L in the formula
2*(180/W) + 2W = 58
360 /W +2W= 58
360 +2W^2 / W = 58
360 +2W^2 = 58W
2W^2 -58W +360 =0
W^2 - 29w +180=0
W^2-20W-9W + 180=0
W(W-20)-9(W-20)=0
(W-9)(W-20)=0
w=9 or 20

If w = 9 L = 20
If W=20 L =9
