In a basketball league consisting of 12 teams, each team plays each of the other teams exactly twice.
The number of league games is a combination.
No of league games=(12C2)=(12!)/(2!*10!)=12*11/2=132/2=66
Answer=66 games.

Perhaps,  tutor  @amarjeeth123  misread the problem.


He gave the answer for the case,  when the teams play only   O N C E   each with the others.

For this understanding,  his answer   C%5B12%5D%5E2 = %2812%2A11%29%2F2 = 6*11 = 66   is correct.

But if the teams play   T W I C E   each with the others, then this number,  66,  must be  DOUBLED.


            So,  the   CORRECT  ANSWER   is   66*2 = 132   in this problem.
