Of these ninety students, there are 24 seniors who are male (see lower left corner of the table).
We simply divide the two values (24 and 90) to get the fraction 24/90. Normally we would reduce this as much as possible but it seems like your teacher doesn't want this to happen. So we just stick with 24/90
