You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
simplify:
3/x + 1/x+4 divided by 1/x + 3/x+4
-------------------
[3/x + 1/(x+4)]/[1/x +3/(x+4)]
=[(3x+12+x)/x(x+4)]/[(x+4+3x)/x(x+4)]
=[(4(x+3)/x(x+4)]
=(x+3)/(x+1)
