Perform the multiplicative distribution yields
-2.2-12-6.3a=-1.9
Simplifying gives
-6.3a = 2.2+12-1.9
-6.3a = 12.3
Divide both sides by -6.3
(-6.3a)/(-6.3) = 12.3/(-6.3)
a = -12.3/6.3
a = -41/21
