I don't how that works. They're like terms, but how are they equal?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
9g² = 3g²

Subtract 3g² from both sides to get 0 on the right:

6g² = 0

Divide both sides by 6

 g² = 0

So take the square root of both sides

 g = 0
