In this case, the starting height is b=8 and the rate of growth is m=4%2F5. So after plugging this info in, we get y=%284%2F5%29x%2B8

Now simply plug in y=13%263%2F5 or y=68%2F5 and solve for x to find out when the plant will reach 13 3/5 cm
