You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x/(x+3)= 5/(x+7)
x(x+7) = 5(x+3)
x^2+7x = 5x+15
x^2+2x-15 = 0
(x+5)(x-3) = 0
x = -5 or x = 3
------------
But x cannot be 3 in the original equation.
Therefore x=-5 is the only solution.
