You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Y=mX+b
FIRST WE NEED TO FIND THE SLOPE (Y2-Y1)/(X2-X1)
(-4-2)/(5-4)=-6/1=-6 FOR THE SLOPE (m).
NOW REPLACE THE X & Y TERMS BY ONE SET OF POINTS & SOLVE FOR THE Y INTERCEPT (b)
2=-6*4+b
b=2+24
b=26
Y=-6X+26 IS THE LINE FORMULA FOR THIS PROBLEM.
