When there is a base to different powers: For division subtract the exponents (bottom from top).


g%5E2+%2F+g%5E6+=+g%5E%28-4%29.


When a number to a power (as shown by the exponent) is raised to a power, multiply the exponents.


%28g%5E%28-4%29%29%5E3+=+g%5E%28-4%2A3%29+=+g%5E%28-12%29


You cannot solve this, because it isn't an equation. You can only simplify it.
