By base change formula, do you mean
y%5Ex=+a is equivalent to x=+%28log+a%29%2F%28log+y%29+???

If so, then
2%5Ex=5 is equivalent to x=+%28log+5%29%2F%28log+2%29+, which by calculator is about 2.32.
