A while back, I had asked this question:
Simplify
3xz + (5x + 3z)(7x - 2xz + y - 4z)
got this answer:
3xz -20xz + 21xz + 35x^2 - 10x^2z + 5xy - 6xz^2 + 3zy - 12z^2
But I need one of the following answers:
a)35x^2 - 10x^2z + 5xy + xz + 3yz - 6xz^2 - 12z^2
b)35x^2 - 10x^2z + 5xy + 4xz + 3yz - 6xz^2- 12z^2
c)35x^2 - 10x^2z + 5y + 4xz + 3yz - 20z - 6xz^2 - 12z^2
d)35x^2 - 10x^2z + 5y + 24xz + 3yz - 20z - 6xz^2 - 12z^2 Answer by richard1234(7193) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Your answer seems correct -- but you have to combine like terms to simplify so you can check which answer matches.
