You can put this solution on YOUR website!
To find the x-intercept, you plug in y=0 and solve for x.

y=-%282%2F5%29x%2B35

0=-%282%2F5%29x%2B35

-35=-%282%2F5%29x

-35%2A5=-2x

-175=-2x

-175%2F%28-2%29+=+x

x+=+175%2F2

The x-intercept is x+=+175%2F2 which in decimal form is x+=+87.5 (because 175%2F2+=+87.5)

The x-intercept as a point is (175/2, 0) which is the same as (87.5, 0)
