i'm assuming that you put the extra minus symbals between the numbers on purpose, soooooooo
46 minus -61, that turns into addition, minus -2, addition again, plus -14, that is subtraction, minus -82 addition again, sooooo it becomes
46+61+2-14+82
need the subtracting negative numbers into parenthesis
46-(-61)-(-2)+(-14)-(-82)
-(-3) that gets turned into an addition instead of subtraction
+(-3) that will be adding the negative to the positive, so you will be subtracting the negative 3 from a positive number, or making a negative number larger, e.g. going from -3 to -6
