SOLUTION: 3/4x=15 why would the answer be 20? I understand that you have to multiply the reciprocal 4/3 by both sides however I am lost after that. Could you please explain this to me?

:
Perhaps it will make sense if you do it in two steps
:
3%2F4x = 15
Multiply by 4 to get rid of the denominator, results:
3x = 4(15)
3x = 60
Divide both sides by 3
x = 60%2F3
x = 20
