Add the x terms together. Just like any other time you add fractions, find the LCD. in this case LCD=24:
%2816x%2B12x%29%2F24=15
Multiply both sides of equation by 24:
16x%2B12x=360
Combine the x terms:
28x=360
Divide each side by 28, reduce, and you are done:
