You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x – y = 1
3x – y = 2
First lets put both equations in slope-intercept form;
3x-y=1
-y=-3x+1
y=3x-1
--------------
3x-y=2
-y=-3x+2
y=3x-2
---------------
Now that we have them in slope-intercept form we can graph;
the first one;
y=3x-1
the slope is - 3%2F1
and the y-intercept is - -1
so from the point (0,-1), you will move up three and over one to the right and that is point 2;
For the second;
y=3x-2
the slope is the same 3%2F1
y-intercept is; -2
So from the point (0,-2), you will go up 3 and over 1;
