i believe it's going to be 44/80 * 75 = 41.25 points.

if you got 80 out of 80, your score would have been 75 points because 80/80 * 75 = 75.

44/80 = .55 = 55% on the test.

if the test is worth 75 point, then you got 55% of 75 = .55 * 75 = 41.25.
