Question 787142: Linh has obtained scores of 88, 73, and 71 on her midterm algebra exams. If the final exam counts twice as much as a midterm, what score must she make on her final exam to get an average score of 80? (Assume that the maximum possible score on each test is 100.)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Average required for 4 exams = 80
Total marks required for 4 exams = 320.
Total of marks achieved so far = 232
300 - 232 = 88.
So, Linh would require to score 88/100
for the 4th exam to achieve an average of 80
for all 4 exams.
Hope this helps.
