Let her average for the 6 tests till now be x.
Average = sum of scores in the 6 tests / 6
So the total of her scores in the 6 tests = 6*x
If she scores 95 in each of her next 3 tests, the total would become
6*x + 95*3 = 6*x + 285
and the total number of tests would be 6+3 = 9
Her new average would be (New total)/9
= %286%2Ax+%2B+285%29%2F9+=+93
Cross multiplying
6%2Ax+%2B+285+=+93%2A9+=+837
6%2Ax+=+837+-+285+=+552
x+=+552%2F6+=+92
Average of first 6 tests = 92
