Question 1166981: The goal of the amusement park is to appeal to people between the ages of 13 and 25. So far, the people who have bought tickets are 10, 10, 15, 29, and 32. What age does the next person need to be in order to maintain the target age group? Found 2 solutions by solver91311, ikleyn:Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source):
You can't. You have already blown the target age group when the 29 year-old bought a ticket. Now if you wanted to know the highest and lowest age that could buy the next ticket to maintain the average within the range, that is another question altogether. I would have been happy answer that question if you would have asked it.
