Question 898334: If one angle is 3 times the measure of angle 2, and the third angle is 5 times the measure of angle 2 subtracted by 90, then find the measure of all three angles.
I have been stumped on this problem for ever. I know they all equal 180, but i can't find the measure of angle 2 and when I do when i plug in the formula it ends up being more than 180.
Please help. Answer by josmiceli(19441) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Let = angle 2 = angle 1 = angle 3
----------------------------
Do you mean the 3 angles add up to 180 degrees?
If so,
-------------------
Angle 2 = 30 degrees
----------------------
Angle 1 =
Angle 1 = 90 degrees
----------------------
Angle 3 =
Angle 3 =
Angle 3 = 60 degrees
----------------------
check: degrees
OK
