: Find the measure of the angle described by the following: the measure of the angle is 26 degrees greater than it's complement.
I tried: let x be the angle
let 90-x be the complement 90-x=26x I get 3.333333
That doesn't look right.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
THE 2 ANGLES ARE X & X+26
X+X+26=90
2X=90-26
2X=64
X=64/2
X=32 FOR THE SMALLER ANGLE.
32+26=58 FOR THE LARGER ANGLE.
PROOF
32+58=90
90=90
