A woman's age is five times her sons age. if the sum of their ages is 42. form an equation and find their ages
Let son's current age be S

Then mother's current age = 5S

We then get: highlight_green%28S+%2B+5S+=+42%29

Solve for S to determine son's current age, then substitute the value for S into 5S to determine mother's

current age. You should be able to do this, I'd hope.

Then do a check!!
