You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let
Present_+age_+of_+Man+=+m years old
Present_+age_+of_+Son+=+s years old

Man is 27 years older than his son
m=s%2B27...........(1)

In 10 years
Man_+will_+be+=+m%2B10 years old
Son_+will_+be+=+s%2B10 years old
Then
Man will be twice as old as his Son
m%2B10=2%28s%2B10%29
m%2B10=2s%2B20
m=2s%2B20-10
m=2s%2B10...............(2)
Substitute the value of m from (1) to (2)
s%2B27=2s%2B10
s-2s=10-27
-s=-17
Multiply by -1 both sides
-s%28-1%29=-17%28-1%29
s=17

Substitute the value of s in (1)
m=s%2B27
m=17%2B27
m=44

Present+_age+_of_+Man+=+m+=+44 years old
Present_+age+_of_+Son+=+s+=+17 years old

a man is 27 years older than his son and 10 years from now, he will be twice as old as his son. how old is the man now?
------------
Equations:
f = s + 27
f+10 = 2(s+10)
------
Substitute and solve for "f":
s+27 + 10 = 2s + 20
-----
s + 37 = 2s + 20
s = 17 (Son's age now)
------
Solve for "f":
f = s + 27
f = 17+27 = 44 (Dad's age now)
