You can put this solution on YOUR website! In 30 years I will be 1.5 times as old as I am now.
How old am I now?
---
let your age now be "x":
Equation:
x+30 = 1.5x
---
Subtract x from both sides:
0.5x = 30
x = 60 (your age now)

No! You're adding 30 more years to your future age when you are
1.5 times your present age, so that would represent your age 60 years
from now!
Here's how to think it through how to set up the equation:
=
Add 30 years to your present age, which is x, and you'll get 1.5 times
your present age.
In 30 years I will be 1.5 times as old as I am now. How old am I now?
x + 30 = 1.5x
Solve that and get x = 60. You are 60 years old?
(You surely don't look that old!)
