You can put this solution on YOUR website!

let Jolo's age be x and Julianne's age y
if in 5+years, Jolo would be twice the age of Julianne, we have
x%2B5=2%28y%2B5%29 ....solve for x
x=2y%2B10-5
x=2y%2B5......eq.1
if 5 years ago, Jolo was 4 times as old as Julianne, we have
x-5=4%28y-5%29 ....solve for x
x=4%28y-5%29%2B5
x=4y-20%2B5
x=4y-15.....eq.2
from eq.1 and eq.2 we have:
4y-15=2y%2B5...solve for y
4y-2y=15%2B5
2y=20
y=10

go to
x=2y%2B5......eq.1, substitute y
x=2%2A10%2B5
x=20%2B5
x=25
so, Jolo is 25 years old now, and Julianne is 10 years old now
