The mean is when you add up all the numbers, and divide by the number of seperate items.
ex. 6+4+3+3=16 16/4 is 4, so the mean is 4.
The median is when you arrange all the numbers from least to greatest, and the median is the one dead center. If there is no center, you use the mean between the two in the middle.
