Probability-and-statistics/285509: Can someone help me PLEASE, I am completely stuck and I can not even think on where to begin, I have tried and tried and come up with different answers each time.
A teacher wishes to compare two different groups of students with respect to their mean time to complete a standardized test. The time required is determined for each group. The data summary is given below. Test the claim at = 0.10, that there is no difference in variance. Give the critical region, test statistic value, and conclusion for the F test.
n1 = 40 s1 = 44
n2 = 60 s2 = 74
= 0.10
I need to find the · State the null and alternate hypotheses.Determine which test statistic applies, and calculate it.Determine the critical region. State your decision: Should the null hypothesis be rejected?”
You are given the following data. Test the claim that there is a difference in the means of the two groups. Use = 0.01.
Group A Group B
= 7 = 10
= 12 = 11
= 66 = 92
State the null and alternate hypotheses
Determine which test statistic applies, and calculate it
Determine the critical value(s).
State your decision: Should the null hypothesis be rejected?
I need these answers A.S.A.P. please I am already having a very hard time with this class and my teachers patience is wearing very thing, Thank you sooooo very much for your time

two numbers one after the other
x and x+1
the smaller is x
3x+4*(x+1)=116
If three times 3x the smaller of two consecutive integers is added + to four times the larger 4(x+1), the result = is 116.

Add up the different types sold and divide each type by that number to get the percentage.
Let's say all totaled there arex sandwiches sold. Then there would be 195/x roast beef sold.
Give that much of the circle to roast beef
Do the same for ham and cheese 75/x

Not only that but the rules also say no similar problems.
Why do you think you can ignore the rules? Because you put a whining please?
Also limit yourself to 4 problems sent separately per day.
Believe it or not because you hogged Stan's time for three problems, two people with real problems will not get their problems answered. Is that fair?

Given two points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2), derive the equation of the line that passes through those two points and write
it in the form y = mx + b. This is called the slope-intercept form of the equation of the line because the two parameters m and b
represent the slope and y-intercept of the line.

r/x+r/2x=1

It takes them r days working together.
3r/2=x
3r=2x
if x=5
r/5+r/10=1
2r+r=10
3r=10
r=10/3 =3 1/3 days
if one can do it in 5 days the other in 10 days together they can do it in 3 1/3 days
in one day one does 1/5 and the other 1/10
2/10+1/10 they can do 3/10 in one day working together.

let's say u= (x-5)
u^2-6u+8
factors are -4 and -2
(u-4)*(u-2)
now substitute x-5 for u
(x-5-4)*(x-5-2)
(x-9)*(x-7)
Which works.
I can't for the life of me think how you got (x-11) and (x+3).
if you had calculated out the original expression you should have gotten
x^2-16x+63
which also factors to (x-9)(x-7)

slope is -a/b =-7/1=-7
perpendicular slope is 1/7
7=3/7+b
49=3+7b
46=7b
46/7=b
y=x/7+46/7 slope intercept form
7y=x+46
check
7=3/7+46/7
49=3+46
ok

What is it you want to remember?
y=mx+b
slope intercept
m=slope b= y intercept
What is the problem?
You can remember all kinds of stuff to play video games and remember songs but you can't put a little math in your head?

Volume/285367: what is the volume for this problem height=10 centimeters, radius = 6.5 centimeters for a cylinder

What is the volume of a cylinder?
V=the area of the circle of the base times the height.
V=pi*r^2*h
pi=3.14
plug them in and solve for V

One of the numbers is prime.
Stop shouting (all caps is shouting). Very rude on the internet and harder to read.
We have upper case and lower case for a reason!
