Travel_Word_Problems/387223: Two cyclists start biking from a trail's start 3 hours apart. The second cyclist travels at 10mph and starts 3hrs after the first cyclist who is traveling at 6mph. How much time will pass before the second cyclist catches up with the first from the time the second cyclist started?
I have tried making a chart:
biker : rate : time : distance
1 : 6mph : T : 6T
2 : 10mph : T+3 : 10(T+3) then 6T=10(T+3)...but that doesnt work out.
