Trigonometry-basics/453696: Suppose John draws a card from a standard deck of cards. What is the probability that he draws a heart or an ace.
(1) 12/52 (2) 16/52 (3) 18/52 (4) 17/52

I was stuck because i thought that there are 4 types of symbols in cards, hearts spades, clover, and diamond. So to find the probability of only hearts or an ace it must be 4*4 ? or 4*2? in total i know there is 52 cards.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It makes no difference the order as long as you remember that when making an input/output table the x is always listed first and the x is always first in an ordered pair.
you can also change the equation to the "slope/intercept" form.
-4y=3x-4
y=-3/4+1
slope m=-3/4
y int b=1
