 Quadratic_Equations/619066: what is the vertex of x^2-4?! I think I did it wrong because once I plugged in my input values(-2,-1,0,1,2) I got (-2,-16) (-1,-4) (0,0) (1,-4) (2,-16) so once I graphed it I got a downward parabola, and isnt it supposed to be upward since my x^2 is positive?! Please help me figure this out! Also, once for the the vertex points I did (x+2)=0 and (x-2)=0 to solve for x then I simply plugged it in to find y; however, once I did that my vertex points turned out to be (-2,16) (2,16)!
