Graphs/356931: I have a couple questions I have no idea how to answer. I hope this gets to you today, I'm already late with the assignment. I'm taking Elementary Algebra with The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, I'm going for a Bachelor's degree in digital photography; I really doubt that I will have to use these skills in my career choice but nonetheless I still have to answer them and understand them. The questions I'm having trouble with are graphing these equations,
1. Y = 2x – 8
2. 5x – 5 = 3x – y
3. Y = IxI – 5
4. 3x + 4 = 4x – 6
The number's of order are not accurate for the assignment, but the equations themselves are. I don't understand what it is I should do to find the answer. Please help! 1 solutions

Linear_Equations_And_Systems_Word_Problems/356485: At Linear High School, there are n lockers all located along a very long hall numbered consecutively from 1 to n . One day, n students, who have been likewise numbered from 1 to n did this:
Student 1 opened all lockers
Student 2 closed every second locker
Student 3 changed the position of every third locker starting with the third locker (the student opened any locker that was closed and closed any locker open)
student 4 changed the position of lcokers 4,8,12.....
This process continues until each person had walked the length pf corridor. Of course, the last student, student n strolled to the end of the corridor where they changed the position of locker n.
Which lockers were open and which were closed at the end.
