Supplementary angles equal 180 degrees. Since they say that an angle is 87 degrees, you have to find the measure of the other angle that will equal it to 180.
Simply subtract 180 from 87 to get your answer.
180 - 87 = 93 degrees.
It's supplement has to equal 93 degrees.
