Numeric_Fractions/666635: My questions are not all numeric. Here goes how do you simplify questions like 4 1\8 divided 1 1\2? I need the step by step process.how do you put a list of numbers together from least to greatest when u have negatives decimals and fractions. If there is a site i can go to or certain books i can get please tell me. Thank you for your time. 1 solutions

Hi,
x+5y-4z=-10
2x-y+5z=-9 ||eliminating z
13x + 21 y = -86
2x-y+5z=-9
2x-10y-5z=0 ||eliminating z
4x - 11y = -9
13x + 21 y = -86
21x = -105, x = -5 and y = -1 and z = 0

Expressions-with-variables/666134: the problem is
y=2x+9
y=7x+8
i subtracted 2x from the first equation to get y-2x=9 and subtracted 7x from the second to get y-7x=8
i then used substitution method to get 7(2x-y)-y=8 to get 14x-7y-y=8, but i dont know if that is correct to get to the final steps.? 1 solutions

t e s t/666049: Find the derivative of the following functions. Note that you need to use the Chain
Rule or Product Rule where applicable.
Note the following for question (where applicable):
• d/dx[ln(x)] = 1/x
• d/dx [eax] = aeax, where a is constant not equal to 0.
• d/dx[bx] = ln(b)*bx, where b is the base of the exponential
F(x) = (x-1)^2(2x+3)^3 1 solutions

Hi,
Re TY:
just substitute the x-value given into the EQ y = (x+1)to find the y-value...
y = x+7 (1,_) x = 1, y = 8, Point is (1,8)
y = x+7 ||Note (0,_) represents an ordered pair (x,y)
Question is asking "What is y when x = 0 "
y = 0 + 7
y = 7 , Ordered pair (x,y) is (0,7)

Trigonometry-basics/666109: 3X^2-13X+14/4X * 12X^2/X^3-2X^2 / 9X-21/6
i know you keep change flip to get
3X^2-13X+14/4X * 12X^2/X^3-2X^2 * 6/9X-21
then u factor (which this is probably where i went wrong) and get
(3X-6)(3X-7)/4X * 12X^2/X^2(X-2) * 6/3(3X-7)
then u are suposed to reduce any from top to bottom but all i can get rid of are the (3X-7)s
but then i still have a ton on the tops and bottomes so im not shure where to go from here with multiplying the tops and bottomes so if someone could help it would be much apreshiated thanks 1 solutions
