Hi,
A does 4/5 of a work in 20 days. 4%2F5+=+20%2F25+ 1/25 per day
In 3 days then 3/25 of work: 1/5 - 3/25 = 2/25 left for B to do in 3 days

B can do 2/75 of the total work in one day. 37.5%282%2F75%29+=+1

test/673224: Please what I am so confused on the following question:
If I have data points for the boiling point of water
ELEVATION (ft): 0, 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000
BOILING POINT(F): 212, 210.2, 208.4, 206.6, 204.8, 203
Question: Using the equation y= -0.002x + 212 (which is a rounded version of the equation line of best fit for this data) At what elevation would you expect for water to boil at 207 degrees Fahrenheit? Round answer nearest foot and explain your answer.

HOW DO I EXPLAIN my answer in a sophisticated way???

PLEASE PLEASE help me I would really appreciate it and thank you for your time.

Hi,
y= -0.002x + 212°F
207°F = -.002x + 212°F
+-5F%2F%28-.002F%2Fft%29+=+2500ft
Boling point of water decreases as elevations increase.
