Polynomials-and-rational-expressions/231688: (10a^2 + 19a + 9) / (2a + 3)
The answer I got is (2a + 3)(5a + 2) + 3 is that correct?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
no, if you do (2a+3)(5a+2)= 10a^2+19a+6 ...Keep trying you almost there
but if you want the answer is :
(5a-1)/(2a+3)

there is actually a property to solve this, let me explain it first,ok?
(a+b)^2= a^2 +2ab+b^2
lets apply this in your problem:
(2x+8)^2 = (2x)^2+ 2(2*8) + (8)^2 = 4x^2 +32+64 = 4(x)^2 + 96

Exponential-and-logarithmic-functions/231763: How do I work this out..
given f(x)=-7x+4 and g(x)=9x+2 represent (f+g)(x)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f+g(x)=fx+gx=2x+6

Functions/231765: given the function f described by f(x)=x+18 find each of the following
f(0)= 18
f(-15)=-15+18=3
f(-14)=-14+18=4
f(5)=5+18=23
f(c+12)=(c+12)+18= c+30

here is the answers:
f(x)=x+18 find each of the following
f(0)= 18
f(-15)=-15+18=3
f(-14)=-14+18=4
f(5)=5+18=23
f(c+12)=(c+12)+18= c+30

Quadratic_Equations/231745: Please someone help me with these. I am not sure I am doing them right.
Solve:
1. y square = 49
The square root of 49 is _7 and + 7
y = -7 and + 7
2. (z + 3) squared = 36
z squared + 9 = 36
z squared= 36-9=27= (3x3x3)
=============================
~~~~~~~I can't go on....please help me
3. x squared + 18x - 17 = 0
x^2+18x-17=0
delta= (18)^2-4(1)(17)=256
square root of delta will be:16
therefore we will have two solutions
x= (-19-16)/2 = -35/2
y= (-19+16)/2= -3/2
Thank you very much. Carrie
