You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=-3x/2-6 now substitute (-3x/2-6) for y in the other equation & solve for x
-3x/2-6=2x/3+7
-3x/2-2x/3=7+6
(-9x-4x)/6=13
-13x/6=-13
-13x=13*6
-13x=78
x=78/-13
x=-6 answer
now substitute -6 for x and solve for y
y=2*-6/3+7
y=-12/3+7
y=-4+7
y=3 answer

a line that is perpendicular to a line with a slope of -3 has a slope of 1/3
(the negative reciprical of the other slope.
thus the equation of this line through (4,-2) is:
-2=4/3+b
b=-2-4/3
b=-10/3
thus the equation is

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x-y=5, -y=-x=5, y=x-5
x+y=3, y=-x+3
