You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If you need help solving the problem:
it would be
First: You want to distribute -2(x+3)
-2x-6<-5
Second: You will add 6 to both sides
-2x<1
Third: Divide by negative two on both sides and REMEMBER when you divide by a negative in an inequality you have to SWITCH the SIGN!!
x> -1/2

Well, your question is very broad so I help this answer solves your problem. One thing that I found that works is on top of every paper that I do in math class over that chapter, I write down the formula. So, by the time I get to the test I remember the formulas by memory and continue to put it on the top of the page. That will help with at least having the formula there as you are working.
Now, if you are talking about not understanding what it is asking....I will need to know what exactly are you not understanding and I can help clarify any misunderstanding.
I hope this helps out a little. Just respond back or e-mail me at amoryjade@yahoo.com with more detail of what exactly you are asking.
