You can put this solution on YOUR website! By the number of sides they have:
• - all sides have lengths
• - sides have lengths
• - sides are
type of triangle has the side lengths of , , is triangle
type of triangle has the side lengths of , , is triangle
type of triangle has the side lengths of , , is triangle
What type of triangle has the side lengths of , , is triangle

logarithm/729746: How do I write this in logarithimic form? 16^-1/2 = 1/4
Can you show me how to get there? 1 solutions
Answer 446195 by MathLover1(6623) on 2013-03-23 19:27:27 (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
To do these ask yourself three questions.
1. What is the base? Answer:
2. What is the exponent? Answer:
3. What is the result? Answer:
Now remember this: log means .
So you should write:
 .....put in the exponent
....then you should put in the base:
...then you should put in the result:

Quadratic-relations-and-conic-sections/729476: determine the center and asymptotes of this hyperbola equation y=x+1/2x-4
1 solutions
Answer 446030 by MathLover1(6623) on 2013-03-23 00:23:56 (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Asymptotes of a hyperbola are the lines that pass through center of the hyperbola and touch the hyperbola.
....since denominator cannot be zero we will find that value of that makes it equal to zero
...=>... ...=>... ...this is coordinate of the center and asymptote
now find value for center
 ....=>..
so, coordinate is

Circles/729413: What is the equation of the circle with center at (-3, 0) and diameter 20? 1 solutions
Answer 446027 by MathLover1(6623) on 2013-03-22 23:50:56 (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!formula for circle is:
where and are coordinates of the center, and is the radius
you are given: center at ( , ) and diameter
( , )=( , ); so, and
 and we know that  ..=>..
now, when you have , , and , plug it in formula

Inequalities/729519: Simone has $40 to buy baseballs for her team's practice. Each baseball costs $3. Which inequality represents this situation
A. 3b < 40
B. 3b > 40
C. 3b < 39
D. 3b < 39
1 solutions
Answer 445939 by MathLover1(6623) on 2013-03-22 19:23:51 (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!if Simone has $ to buy baseballs for her team's practice, she can spend $ or less
if each baseball costs $ she can buy baseballs and that should be $ or less
find how many baseballs you can buy:
 ...you can buy baseballs
so, your answer is choice C.
I am not quite sure is choice D. 3b < 39 is correct or you made mistake because is same as C.

Quadratic_Equations/729512: Please help me understand this:
(x+9)^2=64
I tried this:
(x+9)^2=64
x^2+81=64
I'm not sure what to do from here.
Do you subtract 81 from both sides or subtract 64?
If you subtract 81 then it will be x^2=-17; how do I solve this?
I cannot use the quadratic function because the number you have to square root it by is a negative number and we haven't learned that yet so I don't think that is right. 1 solutions

Quadratic_Equations/729504: I don't understand how to continue this problem. The problem is:
10x^2+10=8-6x
I know that I have to subtract the 8 then the -6x to get 0
I got:
10x^2+6x+2=0
From there, would I have to do the quadratic formula? Because the number you have to square root it by is a negative number and we haven't learned that yet. I tried factoring but I got:
5x^2+3x+1=0
What do I do from here? 1 solutions
