Answer 450827 by MathLover1(6816) on 2013-04-16 19:49:22 (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In general, to solve an equation for a given variable, you need to  the variable;
means , where some number is the answer they're looking for
an example:
Solve
you need to get the all by itself on one side of the "equals" sign, and some number on the other side
so, add to both sides to eliminate left of the equal sign;remember: no matter what kind of equation you're dealing with -- linear or otherwise -- whatever you do to the one side, you must do the exact same thing to the other side

You can put this solution on YOUR website!for angle ° ' the complement is
 °-( ° ')......take on degree from ° and convert in minutes
( ° ')-( ° ')...now subtract degrees from degrees and minutes from minutes
(  °-  °)(  '-  ')
 °  '
supplement
 °-( ° ')......take on degree from ° and convert in minutes
( ° ')-( ° ')...now subtract degrees from degrees and minutes from minutes

 ...move  to the left
 ......now you have equation of parabola in vertex form where ( , ) are vertex coordinates, and coefficient
If , the parabola opens upwards
if , it opens downwards; since your => and parabola opens downwards
to graph this function, you need several points to plot and draw a parabola through
table:
let first point be vertex
