solve the system by graphing 2x+y=-7 & 5x+4y=-13. I How do I solve the problems to get the solutions to graph.
--------------
You don't "get the solution to graph."
You graph the 2 equations. Each is a straight line. Every point on the line is a solution to that equation.
---
Where they intersect, the point that's on both equations, is the solution to the system of equations.
-----------
2x+y=-7
y = -2x - 7
You need 2 points for a straight line.
Pick 2 values for x and find y.
Plot the 2 points.
Draw a line thru them.
====================
Do the same for the other equation.

----------------
"accuracy...doubled..." is not a good term. If the accuracy is 10%, then double that is 20% ??
----
If you mean the error was reduced by a factor of 2:
1350 - 1700 = 350 yrs
350/30 =~ 12 periods
30 mins error * (1/2)^12 = 30/1024 =~ 0.03 min/day = 1.8 seconds/day
------------
1350 - 2000 = 650 yrs = 22.7 periods
30 min*(1/2)^22.7 =~ 4.403E-6 min/day
=~ 264 microseconds/day

11 1\9% as a fraction
---------------
= 9*(11 1/9) = 100
--> 11 1/9% = 100%/9
--> 1/9
=======
That make sense? Or try this:
11 1/9 = 11.111...% repeating 1's
Divide by 100
--> 0.111... as a repeating decimal
1n = 0.111111.....
10n = 1.11111.....
-1n =-0.11111....
------------------ Subtract
9n = 1
n = 1/9

--------------
61 - 1 = 60, not a perfect square
61 - 4 = 57, "
61 - 9 = 52, "
61 - 16 = 45 "
61 - 25 = 36 --> 5 & 6
--------------------
Works for small numbers

------------
t/V - t/E = 1
t*(1/V - 1/E) = 1
t = 1/(1/V - 1/E)
===========
You can:
t = 1/((E - V)/VE)
t = VE/(E - V)

Trigonometry-basics/567944: To solve for all angles (theta) for which sin(theta) = -cos(theta), do I use the inverse function or the reciprocal?
1 solutions

Answer 366820 by Alan3354(30993) About Me  on 2012-02-05 10:55:43 (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
To solve for all angles (theta) for which sin(theta) = -cos(theta), do I use the inverse function or the reciprocal?
--------------
Do it like this:
sin = -cos
sin^2 = cos^2 = 1 - sin^2
2sin^2 = 1
sin^2 = 1/2
sin%28theta%29+=+sqrt%282%29%2F2
theta = pi/4, 3pi/4, 5pi/4, 7pi/4 + 2n*pi, n = 0,1,2,3...
Then eliminate Q1 & Q3 where the signs are the same.
----
--> theta = 3pi/4 + n*pi, n = 0,1,2,3...
or theta = 135 + n*180 degs, n = 0,1,2,3...
====================
A simpler approach:
sin = -cos
Divide by cos
tan = -1
