----------
If you mean it'll be 75 ft around, the circumference = 75 ft, then
d = 75/pi =~ 23.87 ft diameter
= 23' 10.5"

please help me answer this equation using slope intercept form x-y=1

-x
------------
What's the -x all by itself?
----
We don't "answer equations", we solve them for something.
You have one eqn and 2 variables --> an infinite # of "solutions", no unique solution.
-----------
If you graph it, you get a straight line, and every point on it is a solution.

how to find the intercepts and use the to graph the equation
4x+2y=8
-----------
At the x-intercept, y = 0 and vice versa.
----
4x+2y=8
2y = 8
y = 4 --> (0,4)
------------
4x+2y=8
4x = 8
x = 2 --> (2,0)
It's a straight line, so 2 points is sufficient.

secA+tanA= 4, then find sinA
-----------
secA+tanA= 4
1/cos + sin/cos = 4
sin%28A%29+%2B+1+=+4cos%28A%29+=+4%2Asqrt%281+-+sin%5E2%28A%29%29
Square both sides
sin^2 + 2sin + 1 = 16 - 16sin^2
17sin^2 + 2sin - 15 = 0

Solved by pluggable solver: SOLVE quadratic equation (work shown, graph etc)
Quadratic equation ax%5E2%2Bbx%2Bc=0 (in our case 17x%5E2%2B2x%2B-15+=+0) has the following solutons:

x%5B12%5D+=+%28b%2B-sqrt%28+b%5E2-4ac+%29%29%2F2%5Ca

For these solutions to exist, the discriminant b%5E2-4ac should not be a negative number.

First, we need to compute the discriminant b%5E2-4ac: b%5E2-4ac=%282%29%5E2-4%2A17%2A-15=1024.

Discriminant d=1024 is greater than zero. That means that there are two solutions: +x%5B12%5D+=+%28-2%2B-sqrt%28+1024+%29%29%2F2%5Ca.

x%5B1%5D+=+%28-%282%29%2Bsqrt%28+1024+%29%29%2F2%5C17+=+0.882352941176471
x%5B2%5D+=+%28-%282%29-sqrt%28+1024+%29%29%2F2%5C17+=+-1

Quadratic expression 17x%5E2%2B2x%2B-15 can be factored:
17x%5E2%2B2x%2B-15+=+%28x-0.882352941176471%29%2A%28x--1%29
Again, the answer is: 0.882352941176471, -1. Here's your graph:
graph%28+500%2C+500%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+-20%2C+20%2C+17%2Ax%5E2%2B2%2Ax%2B-15+%29

sin = -1
The -1 solution can't be used - the secant is undefined.

if i am 12 and someone has known me since i was 5 i how will i be when they have known me for 90 percent of my life
-------------
5 yrs will be 10% that they didn't know you --> 90% = 45 yrs known
5 + 45 = 50
----------
When you're 50, they'll have known you for 45 years, 90% of your life.
Being 12 now is not relevant.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If you mean
%285a-3%29%2F2-+%283a-9%29%2F8+=+6
Multiply by 8
4*(5a-3) - (3a-9) = 48
20a - 12 - 3a + 9 = 48
17a = 51
a = 3
======
To check it, sub 3 for a
%285a-3%29%2F2-+%283a-9%29%2F8+=+6
%285%2A3-3%29%2F2-+%283%2A3-9%29%2F8+=+6 ?
%2812%29%2F2-+%280%29%2F8+=+6 ?
6 = 6

How do you solve 100(X+1/2)^2=1
------------
Divide by 100
(X+1/2)^2 = 1/100
Take sqrt of both sided
x + 1/2 = 1/10 or -1/10
x = 1/10 - 1/2
x = -2/5
----------
x = -1/10 - 1/2
x = -3/5

Find x. How do I solve this?
--------------
I found it, it's on the left side next to the 6.
=========
Ok, let's get serious.
You can solve for x in terms of y.
get the x on one side of the = by itself.
----
6x+2 = 3y + 4
Subtract 2
6x = 3y + 2
Divide by 6
x = (3y/6) + (2/6)
or, x = (3y+2)/6
x = y/2 + 1/3
Either is acceptable

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the exact value of sin θ, if cos θ = 4/5 and θ lies in quadrant IV.
--------------
Plot the terminal point on the x-y grid
x = 4, r = 5
y = 3 (by Pythagoras) --> -3 in Q4
sin = y/r
sin = -3/5
-------------
Or do it this way:
sin^2 + cos^2 = 1
sin = sqrt(1 - cos^2) = 3/5 or -3/5
Q4 --> -3/5

--------------
Use F1 for flow, F2 for flow after surgery, r for radius & L for length
F1 = k*r^4*L
--> F2 = k*(1.25r)^4/(0.98L)
F2 =~ k*2.4414/0.98r^4*L
F2/F1 =~ 2.4912
Increase = F2/F - 1
= 1.4912
----------------
It's 2.49 times the original
Increased 1.49 times the original, a 149% increase.
