It's 3 * 8 = 24 stops
The 1st bus stops at 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24
The 2nd bus stops at 8, 16, 24

24 is the stop they'll both use (using zero for the starting point).
Then 48, 72, etc, multiples of 24.
