Could you please show me how to factor the following polynomial? I need to know this to solve a rational expression:
x2+2x-5
Also, I can't seem to be able to solve the following problem, which it's part of the same lesson:
x+y over x2+2xy+y2 plus 3x over x-y minus 2x+3y over x+y
