Comment from student: thank you so much. i have unsolved problem again. can u solve it for me. thanks! 1.five times the first of three consecutive even integers is 4 less than twice the sum of the second and third. find the integers. 2. the sum of three number is 49. the second number is three times the first and the third number is 6 less than the first number. find the three numbers. 3.george is 3 years older than his sister janet. in 7 years she will be six-seventh oh his age. how old are they?

Comment from student: Thank you! I tried some really complicated, weird way before and it didn't really go anywhere. Right before I got the email, I figured out a proportion that worked too. Its nice to have more then one way though. Thanks again :)
