Comment from student: Please check if I answered this problem correctly: The length and the width of a rectangle are in the ratio 3:2. If the length is increased by 15 and the width is decreased by 5. The ratio the length to the width is 3:1. Find the length and the width.
Let X = length and Y = width. X = 3 + 15 Y = 2 - 5
X = 18 and Y = -3
